The character

Quentin Jacobsen

Quentin or "Q" is the main character of paper Cities. It is the narrator who tells the story from his own perspective. Q grew up with Margo, but later in childhood, they are separating. Q has become someone ofnerd who hanging out with his group of friends geeks: Ben and Radar.

Q is thoughtful, intelligent, careful and weighted. He plans carefully for the future, despite a general lack of punctuality. It can be self-absorbed and obsessive, but in general, it is considered a basically good, kind, intelligent and confident person.

Margo Roth Spiegelman
Cara Delevingne

A beautiful young woman who can do fall in love every boy. She is a living legend and imperceptible. Everyone thinks know who is she, but nobody really knows who she is. Most of the person can not describe Margo without involving Q.

But, I go try that: She pretending than she is a mad girl who is fearless. But she is a poor girl abandoned for her parents and who wants play the big girl to running away.

Ben Starling

He is Quentin's best friend because they're about on the same level of the social. And Ben is exiting by the mother of Q.

Becca Arrington calls him "Bloody Ben"because he had a kidney infection, and she spread a rumor it was caused by chronic masturbation.

He calls the beautiful girls "HONEY BUNNY"

Ben is also the only main character whose last name doesn't follow what must be a Florida tradition of requiring three syllables and ending in n: Jacobson, Spiegelman, Arrington, Pemberton, Worthington. And hey, variety is the spice of the life.

So Ben is a loyal friend, he's always honest and funny.

 Radar (Marcus Lincoln)

Radar is a best friend of Q and of Ben. It's a geek who is always on a site called Omnictionary who look like to Wikipedia. He have a parents who are made about the Santas blacks. And a beautiful girlfriend.

His real name is Marius Lincoln, but he had a haircut that made him look like a character from M * A * S * H *. He changed his haircut but his nickname was already well spent. And found another nickname was unnecessary.

He is intelligent quiet and understanding. He is empathetic.

Lacey Pemberton

Margo says that Lacey is a false friend and  than she often say "Margo is fat"  for hide his jealousy. And for proof Lacey has not warned of infidelity boyfriend of Margo. But the true has it knew nothing and that she thought was a really good friend.

Lacey Pemberton is actually a nice person, she worries about Margo when she goes missing. She worries that Margo is dead, and she tags along for the road trip to find her.

Margo Roth Spiegelman is cruel to her as soon as she sees her again. She makes fun of Lacey for dating Ben and still can't drop it that Lacey made her feel fat. Lacey returns to the hotel with Ben, and we never get to see if she still wants to be friends with Margo.

Other charchter

CHUCK PARSON – An all-time big bodied bully. He actually bullied Q throughout high school but since Q is Margo’s friend and everybody listened to Margo, he stopped teasing Q.

JASON WORTHINGTON  – He is the boyfriend that cheated on Margo with her friend, Becca. He is a stereotypical jock, pretty big, womanizer and bully.

BECCA ARRINGTON – Margo’s friend who was actually secretly sleeping with her boyfriend. She is also a stereotypical “it” girl. She’s a head turner, gossiper and a trend setter.

MR. AND MRS. JACOBSON – They are both psychologists which tend to make them handle things in a different way. They are neighbors with the Spiegelman’s all their lives so they are very affected with the loss of Margo. They help Q and Margo’s family through it emotionally.

MR. AND MRS. SPIEGELMAN – They are the people who are tired of Margo’s acts of running away. They appeal as cold parents because when she left, they even changed the locks and made no attempt to look for her.

RUTHIE – Ruthie is Margo’s sister and partner in crime. She can easily be an ally you just have to pay her….which is exactly what Q did for help.
