Biography of author


John Green was born in 1977 in Orlando and stills alive. He had a double diploma in English and one in theology at the University of Kenyon. After, he  worked as a journalist for the New York time as literary criticism and publishing wizard.

He wrote in this time is there, his first book "Looking for Alaska" who has had great success in 2005. The second is also been  noticed and received the Honorary Award of L. Printz Award Michael. The third and fifth are written in collaboration with others authors. The fourth is Paper Towns was published on 16 October 2008. It has been classed immediately to the 5th place of the most purchased book of New York, received the 2009 Edgar Award for best novel for teenagers and in 2010 the Corine Literature Prize. 


The film rights were bought by Mandate Picture, the author was hired to write the script, but the project was eventually abandoned. But they came back on the issue, and a film was born in 2015 with Nat Wolf and Cara Delevingne. He made a last whith The Fault in Our Stars who is his greatest success until today.
